Health Spaces – FEEL-GOOD PLACES BY THE SEA

Spacious rooms, always designed with the natural surroundings of mountains and sea in mind, create a unique atmosphere, allowing body, mind and soul the space to breathe more deeply and reawaken. The sea, as an inexhaustible source of energy, accompanies your retreat at OCÉANO in quiet and sometimes stormy ways, giving you peace, strength and balance. After a pleasant sauna session in our Finnish sauna or in the milder sanarium, there is nothing more natural than descending a few steps to the sea and cooling off there. For everything involving movement we have designed our Center of Healthy Motion (COHM), newly built in 2019. Since then we have also added spacious dedicated areas for the cure. Whether in the tranquillity of the F. X. Mayr Restaurant, or in the F. X. Mayr Center, located next to the hotel with treatment and consultation rooms neighbouring the sea, the focus is solely on therapy.

Seawater pools – Pure pleasure

Seawater is the natural environment of life. Experience, enjoy and feel with us how it nourishes you. For our pools, we bring mineral-rich seawater directly in via our own pipeline. Take a dip in our infinity pool while enjoying the view of the Atlantic.

Sauna and baths – Deep relaxation

Experience deep relaxation and a feeling of weightlessness in the indoor Thalasso pool. The sauna area, as elegant as it is intimate, is a harmonious combination of wellness and the freshness of the Atlantic and is designed for all-round well-being. Several saunas, plunge pools and quiet zones, a steam bath and an infrared cabin invite you to rest and unwind. To cool off, it’s a short walk to the pool in the garden or to the Piscina Natural, the sheltered sea swimming pool at the foot of the OCÉANO.

Piscina Natural – Gentle waves

Directly in front of the hotel, with direct access from the pool garden, is the Piscina Natural Punta del Hidalgo. The sheltered seawater pool is wonderful for a swim or to cool off after a sauna session at the OCÉANO Health Spa. Spectacular: when the surf is high and the waves crash into the pool.

Rooftop Lounge Ocean 11 – A box seat above the sea

A light-filled place to breathe deeply with healthful exercise and active relaxation, with or without the guidance of a trained instructor. From the fitness circuit, equipped with modern cardio machines and ergometers from TechnoGym, the view sweeps out over the expanse of the sea. For the yoga and relaxation sessions offered several times a week, the 90 m² yoga room with natural wood flooring offers ample space.
