Fasting according to Mayr means to give the intestine a rest with easily digestible foods and a simple diet to allow it to concentrate on its actual task, the detoxication of the body.

The individually adjusted bland diet is usually hypocaloric. As a fasting method, it has a positive effect on the health. The reduction of carbohydrates lowers the insulin level and at the same time many health risks related to an insulin resistance with hyperinsulinemia. Proper chewing and insalviating is easier on the digestive tract. It promotes the generation of bacteria beneficial for defence and regeneration functions of the intestinal mucosa.

Please take approx. 1 to 2 cups of base broth from 11:00 to 12:00.

Stage 1: Tea fasting

Breakfast

1 pot of herbal tea with a few drops of lemon or orange juice,

1 spelled bun (1 x buckwheat bun, 3 x rice waffles, 2 x crispbread)

Lunch

2-3 cups of herbal tea with a few drops of lemon or orange juice,

1 spelled bun (1 x buckwheat bun, 3 x rice waffles, 2 x crispbread)

Dinner

2-3 cups of herbal tea, a few drops of orange / lemon juice or base broth,

2 slices of crispbread or 3 rice waffles

some honey at will

Stage 2: Traditional Mayr diet

Breakfast

125 g goat yogurt,

1 spelled bun (2 x buckwheat bun, 3 x rice waffles, 2 x crispbread)

Lunch

125 g goat yogurt,

1 spelled bun (2 x buckwheat bun, 3 x rice waffles, 2 x crispbread)

Dinner

2-3 cups of herbal tea with a few drops of lemon / orange juice or base broth,

2 slices of crispbread or 3 rice waffles

some honey at will

Stage 3: Traditional OCÉANO-Mayr-diet with added proteins and base soup

Breakfast

125 g goat yogurt,

1 spelled bun (2 x buckwheat bun, 3 x rice waffles, 2 x crispbread)

1 pot of tea to spoon

or, if prescribed by the doctor, 150 g of cereal porridge (oats, rice, millet etc.) + 1 rice waffle

Lunch

basic Mayr soup to spoon

50 g protein or base supplements

Bread of your choice

Dinner

2-3 cups of herbal tea with a few drops of orange / lemon juice

a little honey or base broth or 1 cup of base soup at will

2 slices of crispbread or 3 rice waffles, plus 50 g allowance

Stage 4: Modern OCÉANO-Mayr-diet– food combining

Breakfast

125 g goat yogurt,

1 spelled bun (or 3 x rice waffles, 2 x crispbread, 1x buckwheat bun) or 150 g cereal porridge + 1 rice waffle

Lunch

Vegetables and protein (approx. 120 g fish, poultry, etc.), if noted by the doctor: avocado or oil

Dinner

1-2 cups of basic Mayr soup or 2-3 cups of base broth

with 50 g protein or basic supplement

2 slices of crispbread or 3 rice waffles, with oil or avocado

Stage 4.1: Modern OCÉANO-Mayr-diet

The same as stage 4, but with a different lunch.

Vegetables and carbohydrates alternated daily with vegetables and proteins.

Stage 5: Modern OCÉANO-Mayr-diet– bland diet with soup

Breakfast

125 g goat yogurt

1 spelled bun (or 3 x rice waffles, 2 x crispbread, 1x buckwheat bun) or 150 g of cereal porridge

1x rice waffle, papaya and almond puree etc.

Lunch

1 cup of basic Mayr soup for spooning, vegetables and protein (approx. 120 g fish, poultry, etc.)

Carbohydrates, plus oil and avocado

Dinner

1-2 cups of basic Mayr soup or 2-3 cups of base broth

in addition 70 g protein or base supplement (can also consist of 2 different ones)

2 slices of crispbread or 3 rice waffles
